Se llaman Delphic y son de Manchester. Su música está a medio camino entre de The Postal Service y Cutcopy. Lanzarán su primer álbum ACOLYTE el próximo 11 de Enero. Ya nos fueron sonprerdiendo con algunos de sus singles durante el 2009 (El sencillo “This Momentary” fué lanzado el 31 de agosto de 2009 a través de Kitsuné).
Tienen un impecable directo, y así quedo demostrado en LIVE ON LATER with Jools Hollan. Puedes ver el video aquí. Ahora sólo queda esperar verlos en la sala Razzmatazz de Barcelona el próximo 28 de Febrero y comprobarlo por nosotros mismos!!!

Ya hablamos de ellos hace unos días. Sacan su disco debut el próximo 9 de Marzo. Ahora presentan el video de su primer single “The High Road”.
Miike Snow is Miike Snow’s eponymous debut album. It was recorded in Stockholm and released early on May 12, 2009, by Downtown Records. A single for the track Animal was released February 17, 2009. Upon a UK release of the song later in the same year, the track charted in the UK Singles chart at #98. The second single is called “Black & Blue”. Both singles have made the BBC Radio 1 Playlist B-List. The Guardian spoke highly of the band, saying Miike Snow’s “coolly emotional pop suggests a-ha meets Animal Collective”. ‘Black & Blue’ was featured in Sony’s Make.Believe 2009 Christmas advertising campaign , and their song “A Horse Is Not a Home” was the single of the week on the UK iTunes store. In a recent interview with ClashMusic.com, lead singer Andrew Wyatt revealed their unexpected popularity, “I don’t think our project was that thought out when we started. We just wanted to make music together. Three people just messing about. I don’t think we anticipated the level of attention that it’s getting right now. We didn’t even think about touring when we started the album.” The first track “Animal” was played in an episode of the American TV-series Gossip Girl during the fall of 2009.
Miike Snow have remixed tracks by Passion Pit, Peter Bjorn and John, Kings of Leon, Coco Sumner, and Vampire Weekend. Their music has been remixed by Mark Ronson, Crookers, Peter Bjorn and John, Treasure Fingers, Tiga, Caspa, Style of Eye, Fake Blood, Benny Blanco, Savage Skulls, Netsky and DJ Mehdi amongst others. Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South are working on a remix of “Silvia”, due for release in January - February 2010.
They start their first UK headline tour in January 2010, and will tour Mexico with emc X.
